The new Soy campaign is approaching, producers and seed companies focus on what each lot needs to perform at its best. Argentina, due to its vast extension, presents diverse climates and heterogeneous geographical conditions. Because, each field may need slight variations in order to fulfill its potential.
For this year, NK, the seed brand that has been in the market for more than 135 years and that was the first to develop its own variety of soybeans, launched its campaign of this last crop with two varieties specially designed for the central zone and environments. of the NEA and NOA. These are the variety NK 52X21 STS and the NK 60X21 IPRO STS, respectively. Each one was produced from surveying the climatic and agronomic conditions of each environment.
The NK 52X21 STS variety is a material from the short V maturity segment, with 3 days longer cycle time than the SY 5X1 variety, a material with similar characteristics to those that stood out in previous campaigns. In addition, it has STS technology, which provides flexibility for weed management, good branching potential, and great tipping behavior.
While the NK 60X21 IPRO STS is recommended to be used in NEA and NOA in early sowing dates and for the search for stability in restrictive environments of the Central and Litoral regions.

Also, NK anticipated varieties for multipliers. The first of them will be the NK 33X22 STS, of short cycle III, with outstanding performance on first and second planting dates in southern Buenos Aires; the second will be the NK 39X22 STS, long cycle III, ideal for the search for high yields in the center and south of Buenos Aires.
They also presented the NK 51X22 IPRO STS, short V cycle, recommended for late or second planting dates in the core zone or early plantings in the central and coastal region and, finally, the NK 69X22 IPRO STS, a variety long cycle VI, which will provide wide adaptability to the environments of the north of the country.
For the 2021/22 campaign, seed innovation is key and is reflected both in genetics and in the technologies incorporated into each seed. For this reason, these varieties, specially designed for the conditions of each environment, are essential to increase soil yields.
