After the assumption of the new legislators, they begin to define who will be the presidents of each interblock of the main political forces that make up the National Congress.

The interblock president is the one who coordinates the different block and bench presidents within Congress.

Máximo Kirchner and José Mayans will continue as interblock presidents in Deputies and Senators, respectively.

Who will be president of the Together for Change interblock

Everything indicates that Cristian Ritondo He will be president of the interblock of Together for Change in the Lower House, since the PRO, the party to which the deputy belongs, is the one with the most seats.

In the Senate, the interblock president will be Alfredo Cornejo.

The fragmentation scenario in the blocks of Together for Change

In the interblock of Together for the Change in the Chamber of Deputies, there were six blocks and four monoblocks, that is, 10 block presidents and everything indicates that it will work like this until March 1, the date on which the ordinary sessions of the 2022 Congress begin.

With 116 deputies in total, the leadership and the conduction appear much more blurred, in a scene furrowed by the internal differences.

The PRO block

In the PRO, the president of the party at the national level, Patricia bullrich, maximum exponent of the group of “hawks”, tried to kick the board imposing to Waldo Wolff as head of the bench, however they did not give him the numbers. Cristian Ritondo received majority support and he twisted the arm of Bullrich, who had no alternative but to capitulate and accept the leadership of the sector of “doves” vidalistas and larretistas.

The PRO will have three fewer seats than it had until this year, however it will be the largest bench and that is why Ritondo is projected as the most feasible option to occupy the presidency of the interblock.

The radical block

The UCR bloc suffered a break in Deputies. It is that after questioning the leadership of Mario Negri, finally through an official statement published by Emiliano Yacobitti, the sector that responds to the senator Martin Lousteau informed that it will set up its own block of Deputies within Together for Change, headed by Rodrigo De Loredo.

For this group, it is necessary to renew and this must be done on the basis of the social representativeness that the citizens expressed at the polls.
