Marcos Senesi fulfilled his dream. The defender was summoned for the first time to the Argentine national team and this Friday he trained for the first time with his teammates, in the run-up to the Euro-American Cup final against Italy, which will be played on June 1.
The player, who was tested to wear the Italian shirt, opted for Argentina when coach Lionel Scaloni called him up a few weeks ago.

“Hello, Selection”Senesi showed his joy from his social networks. The Feyenoord defender had joined the camp on Thursday night after losing the Conference League final against Roma on Wednesday.
“I am very happy to join the squad, very happy, I always waited for this opportunity. I hope to make the most of it,” he said on Thursday in statements to TyC Sports in Bilbao.
And he added: “It is something that I had been feeling from within, the fact of wanting to be in the Argentine National Team. A dream since childhood”.
It is very difficult for Senesi to go to the World Cup since Scaloni has the position of central defender well covered with players like Nicolás Otamendi, Cristian Romero, Germán Pezzella and Lisandro Martínez.
The Argentine National Team got a rival for another friendly: it will face Estonia
The National Team got a rival to play a second friendly match in Europe: on Sunday, June 5, they will face Estonia in the Spanish city of San Sebastián, one hour from the training center in Bilbao.
Immediately after the game with Italy, the squad will return to Bilbao to continue training and will close the two weeks of preparation by playing against Estonia.
The match between Argentina and Estonia will be played at the Municipal de Anoeta stadium, where Real Sociedad usually plays at home.
For Scaloni it is a game that can serve to test players and give opportunities to those who played the least throughout the process.
