A blind retiree hit an improperly parked truck with his cane because was obstructing the ramp for people with disabilities and it couldn’t happen. The moment was captured on video taken by a passerby. It happened in the city of Remedios de Escalada, party of Lanus.
The sequence occurred on Tuesday afternoon, when the man, identified as Omar, was returning from shopping and tried to cross Beltrán Street at the corner of Doctor Melo. However, he couldn’t because a vehicle blocked the pedestrian crossing.

Due to the discomfort generated by this situation, began to hit the roof of the vehicle with the cane that you use to move. At that moment, people who were passing by the area approached him to ask him what was wrong with him and that made him even angrier.

What the retiree said about what happened
“I went as usual to run errands. Returning with the bags, I try to go down the ramp and collide with a truck. I hit my face, body and legs. Since no one was there I started to hit for the owner to come”, said Omar in dialogue with Telenueve.
In turn, he added: “The owner was in an act of the grandson’s school. It was like half an hour. When he came, he told me ‘here I am’. He didn’t apologize to me and he told me that he parked there because there was no place.”

While a woman passing through the area stated in a conversation with The Southern Journal: “The man who appears at the beginning brought him a bigger stick to hit the car, but the man did not grab him and continued hitting him with his cane. Then a lady approached tried to defuse the situation”.
