The event occurred at 8 in the morning this Wednesday, Women’s Day, during a traffic cut on the Diagonal in Barcelona, ​​at the height of Albert Bastardas street. In the video of the event, you can see how the car accelerates and breaks the human chain that the protesters formed, causing some of them to fall to the ground.

Two other protesters stayed on top of the hood and clung to it so as not to fall, while they demanded the woman to stop. One more hung from the side of the vehicle.

Finally, the driver stopped her march after a few meters and the two women were able to get off by their own means. Meanwhile, the rest of the group approached to hit the car and recriminate the lady for her action.

As a result of the incident, one of the demonstrators suffered minor bruises, according to reports from the Mossos d’Esquadra and the Barcelona City Council. Others suffered blows.

The Mossos d’Esquadra informed the EFE agency that the agents present at the scene identified the driver, and will carry out the corresponding police report, which will be transferred to the court so that it can make the pertinent decisions.
