The Federal Administration of Public Revenues (AFIP) provides access to the Monotax to certain groups. This tax regime is a payment system that small taxpayers can access, whose purpose is to simplify tax (VAT and Profits) and pension (retirement) payments.
In addition, the Monotributo taxpayer must pay a fixed monthly fee, which contains a component of taxes and another of contributions to retirement and social work.

Monotributo: how to register today
To register in the Monotributo regime, a series of steps must be followed:
The interested party must have a CUIT and Fiscal Code and enter the AFIP Monotributo portal. If you do not have them yet, it is necessary to obtain them through the Federal Administration page. Press the “Start” button to start the adhesion and enter your CUIT and tax code. Once the process begins, choose what type of monotributo will be used, which will correspond to the type of work that is carried out. The next step to follow is the characterization of activities. The type of activity to be carried out, start date, billing amounts and establishment data must be detailed. Then, it must be indicated if it is appropriate to pay the retirement. If you are already being paid, indicate how (for example, you are working in a dependency relationship). If not, choose to pay it together with the Monotributo. Choose and pay the social work, depending on the declared retirement contributions. You can choose the one you prefer and you can add family members, paying an additional fee for each one. In the last step, you must verify that everything you entered is correct. If you made a mistake, you can make changes or click on “Confirm Adhesion”. Once the Monotributo adhesion process is complete, you must register with the chosen social work and submit the health affidavit at an ANSES office.
The monotribute expires on the 20th of each month.
The monotribute can be paid up to the 20th of each month, generating an Electronic Payment Flyer (VEP) from the AFIP website or adhering to automatic debit.
