The voices of the experts assure that in Argentina there is a lot of innovation and that, in the eyes of the world, we are a benchmark, they affirmed in the 17th edition of “Expoagro YPF Agro edition”. In this sense, the Agricultural Engineer, Hernán Ferrari, member of the Agricultural Mechanization Group of INTA – Concepción del Uruguay, and member of the production team of the Technodrome, highlighted: “Argentina is really well positioned. Despite all the problems that we may have, in incorporating technology, innovations and Precision Agriculture, we are in 3rd place in the world”.
And he stressed that we are below the United States and Germany, “but not only that, but of the 194 countries that make up our planet, we are in 13th place in relation to technology developments for agriculture and livestock.”

The protagonists of this achievement, according to Ferrari, are the producers and contractors of our country, especially the latter, since they quickly incorporate technologies: “They launch a new development in the United States or in Germany, and by the 3rd year they already incorporate it massively in Argentina. And that makes us what we are today: one of the most efficient countries in the world in producing food”.

Leaders in creating technology
Along the same lines, the AAPRESID representative and member of the Technodrome’s production team, Luis Negruchi, assured that Argentina is one of the countries that creates technology the most.
For his part, the Agronomist and member of the production team of the Edgar Ramírez Technodrome, said that he is currently working on a bilateral cooperation project between Germany and our country and assured that, in comparison, Argentina collects much more work data than is done in the field.

However, although the outlook is more than positive and promising, there is one aspect that still needs to be worked hard: the infrastructure to process this data. Computed data allows generating information, making decisions and, therefore, perfecting processes, improving production and marking product traceability.
“We have the base, but we have machinery that comes from the factory with a lot of technology that we don’t know how to use in the field, because there is also no training. There is a lack of training for producers and technicians,” added Ramírez.

The experience of having a unique Technodrome in the world
The public enjoys the Expoagro “Mario Bragachini” Technodrome, an open-air space where the latest releases in agricultural machinery technology are shown. In addition, the technological exhibition is complemented with data and details of the machinery on display, from the specialist, Hernán Ferrari, to learn and be able to decide which machinery is best for the producer.
“The machinery factories in the United States make their own shows with their launches, call their clients and make a demonstration with stands; but something like that, like the Technodrome that we have, where all the developments, technologies and innovations of our country or abroad are shown, does not exist”, stressed Ferrari.

In this unique edition, you can enjoy two daily shows: The Great Machinery Show and The Technology Revolution, the first at 11 a.m. and the second at 2:00 p.m. There, the machinery available at Expoagro and the latest innovations in smart agriculture are disclosed.
Before, this event was held in the countryside, where only a few could attend. “This way everyone can appreciate it much better. It is more complete”, affirmed the contractor Sergio Marinelli, member of the production team of the Tecnodrome and representative of FACMA.
