Referring to a “leak” from the New York State Attorney’s office for the borough of Manhattan, Trump, who hopes to run for the White House again in 2024, wrote in all capital letters: “LEADING REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE AND FORMER PRESIDENT OF UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, YOU WILL BE ARRESTED ON TUESDAY NEXT WEEK.”

The investigation centers on a $130,000 payment made before the 2016 election to keep Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, from revealing the relationship she claims she had with Trump years earlier and which the former president denies.
The actress’ attorney, Clark Brewster, said on Twitter that his client had met with investigators at the request of the district attorney’s office.
“Stormy responded to questions and agreed to make herself available as a witness or if needed by the future investigation,” Brewster said.
