Lollapalooza 2023, LIVE: Tan Biónica returned and gave their fans a “magical night”

Chano appeared in the first of Lollapalooza Argentina 2023. After a recent hospitalization, the musician returned to his audience with an unexpected surprise: the return of Tan Biónica after having stopped playing in 2016.

After the singer performed some songs from his solo career, he announced to the crowd that something “historic” would happen on that stage. Thus, he confirmed the return of the band with which he began his career in music that not only played at the festival, but will give one last show in “a stadium in Buenos Aires”, although he has not yet announced the date and the place.

Charpentier left the stage and for five minutes images of Tan Biónica could be seen on the screens, while great expectations were generated among those present until the quartet entered the scene with their typical Beatles-style jacket costumes and performed “Magic City”, while that Chano urged his audience to enjoy like never before: “To see the biggest pogo at Lollapalooza.”

Then the hit “She has a look” was played, a song that the audience chanted frantically. After this reunion, Chano expressed “Thank you for this magical moment, thank you for these open hearts”, at the end of “Obsessionary in A Major”.

Accompanied by their audience, the band finished their four-song set with “La melody of God” and Chano said goodbye anticipating what will be the next Tan Biónica concert: “See you very soon to have the magical night, the one we owed you ”.

Among the public it was possible to see the mother of Bambi and Chano excited about this return to the stage. As The Beatles’ “All You Need Is Love” played, the quartet embraced and greeted those present with emotion.

Chano’s presence at Lollapalooza had already been generating great expectations, after his health worried his fans once again. Recovered, he not only gave songs with his band, among which are “Amor y Roma” and “Mecha”, but he also sang “Claramente” in acoustic format only with his guitar to later excite with the greatest hits of Tan Biónica and confirmed that there will be a rematch for the band that was born in 2002 formed by Chano, Seby, Bambi and Diega.

Drake: hits and a nod to La Scaloneta

In his first show in Argentina, Drake reviewed his beginnings and also some of his hits: “God’s Plan”, “Work”, “Mia” and “Hotline Bling” played at the Palermo Hippodrome. In his little more than 60 minutes of show, the rapper also decided to pay homage to the Argentine National Team by singing “Muchachos”, a song that the Argentine fans popularized in the last World Cup.

At the last moment, before starting his concert, the artist did not allow his show to be broadcast live through Flow streaming despite the previously assumed formal commitment.
