Lollapalooza Argentina 2023 went into an unexpected pause around 4:45 p.m. due to fears of a thunderstorm. However, after 5:00 p.m., the deluge was left behind at the San Isidro Hippodrome and the shows on this third day of the festival continued as scheduled.
During the time that the concerts were stopped for security reasons, the organization asked those present to please move away from the stages at least five steps back and also from the metal structures. Despite the fact that there was speculation about a suspension of the event, the sun returned to illuminate the facilities and the interruption ended.

Lollapalooza Argentina 2023: the most outstanding moments of the second date
This Saturday the second day of Lollapalooza Argentina 2023 took place. Like the first day, the festival brought together a large number of people who fanned out throughout the San Isidro Hippodrome to meet their favorite artists and enjoy music.

The doors opened at 12 noon and the line up featured Twenty One Pilots, Tame Impala, The 1975 and Yungblud. In addition, the spectators were delighted with national bands such as Catupecu Machu, 1915, and Usted Señálemelo.
The first day of the festival she had set the bar very high with the unmistakable presence of Rosalía, who displayed all her charisma and talent on stage. Another epic moment of the day on Friday was Chano’s show because in addition to announcing the return of Tan Bionica, he invited the band to get on stage and play four of his hits.
Twenty One Pilots at Lollapalooza: from their admiration for Argentina to a cover of Blink-182
The American band took the stage around 10 p.m. and starred in one of the most epic shows on the second day of the festival. Faithful to their style and full of energy, the group led by Tyler Joseph had a great bond with the public, whom they thanked on repeated occasions, and demonstrated their passion for the Argentine National Team.
“We wouldn’t have to be here today, but it’s an honor,” said the Twenty One Pilots singer, since they weren’t part of the initial lineup of Lollapalooza Argentina but joined after the cancellation of Blink-182. For this reason, they performed “All the small things”, one of the best-known songs of Californians, dedicated to those fans who were present.

But that was not all. Tyler was encouraged to cross the entire audience, went up the sound structure and from there he began to play accompanied by his bass. Then, when descending, he gave away shirts from the albiceleste. In addition, another World Cup moment happened when the trumpeter played “Muchachos”, the song by La Mosca.
Catupecu Machu and a show full of emotions
It was in 2017 when Fernando Ruiz Díaz decided to pause Catupecu Machu. It was not until the middle of last year that the band returned to the stage and did so with emotion on the surface. That same feeling appeared this Saturday in his presentation at Lollapalooza Argentina.
The most epic of the shows at this festival are the generational encounters that take place on stage. For his song “Eso vive”, Catupecu invited Ca7riel to sing with them, to demonstrate all his talent and youth.

Among other songs such as “Magia poison”, “Plan B”, “Sometimes I come back” and “Dale!”, Fer always remembered his brother Gabriel who died in 2021, and said that the current bassist was using his instrument. In this way, a great commotion was generated between the singer of the Argentine band and the public.
Yungblud lit up Saturday afternoon with his euphoria
“I’ve been waiting for this moment all my life,” Yungblud had said in dialogue with TN La Viola, days before its presentation for the first time in the country. The British musician landed in Buenos Aires with a great desperation to know the agitation of the Argentine public, and he demonstrated it in every minute of his show.
Although his appearance at the festival was around 4:00 p.m., with the sun at its maximum intensity, the singer left all his energy on stage and received incredible acceptance and euphoria from his fans. One of his most epic moments was when he wore the Argentina shirt -Messi’s 10- he ended up singing among the people and shouted “empanada, empanada”.

Such is Yungblud’s love for Argentines that, one day before his show at Lollapalooza, he announced an intimate and free event at Camping. Thousands and thousands of fans eager to receive their long-awaited entry bracelet arrived at the place, located on Avenida del Libertador, although only some of them were able to experience it.
