Following the public complaint that Lucas Benvenuto made against Jey Mammón, the details of the lawsuit filed by the 30-year-old man about events he experienced when he was 14 came to light. In this context, a Spanish filmmaker assured that he is planning to make a film , which will be titled My name is Lucas, to tell the terrible life story of Lucas.
“With this film I want to give him peace of mind,” said David González in dialogue with A la tarde (América). The director, who knew Lucas some time ago, explained that the objective of the film is “to do poetic justice.” “There are people who do not understand what Lucas suffered, who do not know what it is to be abused. We want to explain the emotional part, what he suffered, the harassment, without going into lurid details or violent scenes, ”he explained.

Regarding the details of the production, the filmmaker announced that he had already read the book that Benvenuto himself wrote and that he has thought about what the initial sequence of the film will be like: “The first scene would show Lucas chatting with an older man, so that the public would ask what a boy of that age is doing without supervision on the Internet”.

The tragic story of Lucas Benvenuto, the young man who denounced Jey Mammón for sexual abuse
Although the name of Lucas Benvenuto’s young man has gained resonance in the last few hours, his heartbreaking life story is considered one of the most aberrational cases of pedophilia in Argentine history.
In 2020 Benvenuto identified himself as the young man behind the infamous case of the child trafficking network, the “boy lovers”, whose head was the psychologist Jorge Corsi. Benvenuto was captured by these abusers at the age of 11 and it took him 17 more to dare to tell it. He made up his mind when he found out that one of his perpetrators, former music teacher Marcelo Rocca Clement, was released from jail eight years after he was charged.

Lucas himself said that of all the boys that this criminal gang recruited to give free rein to their depravities, he would perhaps be the most vulnerable. He lived in Mataderos with his mother, who suffered from a strong drug addiction. He spent most of his time without adult supervision and in cybers, connected to Messenger. There he was approached by these subjects: they deceived him with promises and money and then kidnapped him.
He escaped 9 months after they disappeared, but during this time he was forced to have sexual relations with several of them. He even remained locked in the back of a bookstore, where he was filmed being abused by his captor. The videos of the violations were commercialized in Spain.
