In the final stretch before the PASO, the PRO candidate for head of government, Jorge Macri, demanded more emphasis on electoral support from the presidential candidate of Together for Change, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, and differentiated him from the signs of support he received in recent times from other of the most high-profile leaders in space.
“Each candidate for president expresses himself as he sees fit, as he feels. Patricia Bullrich was very emphatic in supporting her, for a long time, Mauricio Macri too, like María Eugenia Vidal, ”he said in statements to Perfil radio.

The Buenos Aires Minister of Government marked the differences with the case of Rodríguez Larreta: “He does it in his style and way, I would like him to be more emphatic.”
“I am the only PRO candidate. He worried me at some point that we would divide, when there was the possibility that Fernán Quirós would also be a candidate for the PRO. It seemed to me that it was not good that we had a divided offer in the City, ”he added.

In any case, he considered it “something secondary” and that “at this point people are going to choose based on what each one has to offer.”
On the other hand, he made reference to the double voting system that will be in the City of Buenos Aires, the traditional paper ballot and ballot box to elect the national authorities and the Single Electronic Ballot (BUE) to select the Buenos Aires candidates.

“I care that there is a lot of information between now and the election, so that people know that they are going to arrive in a dark room and they are going to have to vote with two different systems. So have that patience, and take your time, and that the table authorities help and that it be a nice experience, ”he said.

Meanwhile, he dismissed the versions that indicate that the electronic voting system could favor him internally against the radical senator, Martín Lousteau.
“I never underestimate the voter. When the voter wants to vote for something, he votes for it with whatever system it is. If someone thought that choosing one or the other system could benefit them, I don’t know, it’s reading them. I am very confident in the commitment that the citizen has, and even more so the sophisticated citizen of the City of Buenos Aires, since he is going to find a way to vote for someone, beyond the mechanism”, he said.
