Blows to the head and a stab in the heart: the autopsy revealed how Amanda Aguilar was killed

In the last few hours, the results of the autopsy on the body of Amanda Aguilar, the 14-year-old teenager allegedly murdered by her brother-in-law, Sixto Quiroga, a 30-year-old man who is already in prison, were announced.

As revealed by the forensic examination, the victim received a severe blow to the head that fractured her skull and she was stabbed at least five times. One of her wounds was in her left lung, two others in her right and she suffered a stab wound to the heart that killed her instantly.

Initially, the first results showed that the teenager had been dead for more than 24 hours when investigators found her.

In addition, forensics also found fluids that could be semen, which are now being examined to see if they are compatible with the only detainee. The suspect is also believed to have sexually abused her.

Quiroga was charged with femicide in a real contest with sexual abuse with carnal access, a criminal classification that has a single expected penalty, which is life imprisonment.

The girl had been intensely searched since Wednesday, when she left her house located in Rincón de Milberg without telling anyone where she was going. Her mother, Natalia, noticed her daughter’s absence around 8:15 p.m. and tried to call her on her cell phone, but she turned it off.

In the middle of the search, a WhatsApp audio was leaked in which Quiroga confessed to having killed his partner’s sister. “In that audio he said that he had sent a baton with the girl, that he had murdered her and that he had hidden her in the front yard of the house,” sources in the case revealed to the Télam agency.

Based on this message, it was ordered to search the home where the suspect lived with the victim’s sister, which is about 15 meters from where Amanda resided. That was where they found her body wrapped in a garbage bag, under a mound of metal sheets and garbage. Next to it, there was a pickaxe and a broken shovel.
