Catherine Fulop spoke about the relationship she has with Cleo, her mother, who lives in Venezuela and whom she had not seen for 5 years, during an interview with Diego Leuco on La Peña de Morfi (Telefe). Only in May of this year were they able to meet again for the woman’s 87th birthday, an anniversary they celebrated on a family trip they took to Punta Cana. “From my mother I have that helpful thing, humility. “She always tried to bring me down to earth,” said the actress.

After this, Leuco showed the driver a letter that Cleo had written to him in her own handwriting. In addition, he told her that they were going to watch a video of that very special moment. And while the woman’s voice was heard pronouncing the words that she was writing in the letter, Catherine began to cry.

“My dearest Cathyta beautiful. The following is so that you can receive some letters of my wishes. I still haven’t forgotten the days of Punta Cana, they were wonderful days. Having you so close after years without seeing you (all those years I missed you a lot) and the surprise you had prepared for me with my two granddaughters, Ori and Tizy. What joy it gave me to hug them and have them so close to me! From the bottom of my heart, I thank you,” the letter said when referring to Fulop’s two daughters.

And he concluded by saying: “Well, beautiful Cathyta, I am already finishing these little letters that I write for you with so much love. Give my Ovita some kisses for me. May all projects be beautiful reality. God bless you. See you soon. “I love you, mom Cleo.”
Moved by the situation, the actress could only comment: “How strong! It’s very strong…” And then she, with a broken voice, explained: “My mother has been a very generous woman. I had another mother here named Bety Sabattini. And my mom was so generous that she let her be my mom too. Because Bety accompanied me with raising my daughters. And my mother came and shared, she loved Bety. And, between the two of them, they made an incredible key and contained me as a person, as a woman, as a mother, as a friend, as a sister…The two, really, were two madrasas.”
Catherine Fulop traveled to Punta Cana to greet Cleo, her mother, who turned 87.
Immediately, the actress gave details of Cleo’s situation. “Having her away from her and knowing that she is so big. She lives in a country that is complicated. It is difficult economically for Venezuelans. And I hope she can get ahead. And my brothers too,” Fulop said that she has not gone to Venezuela for more than ten years.

And then he delved into the sociopolitical reality of Venezuela: “Even I no longer understand it. I no longer understand what is happening. The only thing I understand is how my family is. And what happened to us. Living in I don’t know whether to say misgovernment or a populist government, because I don’t know what to call it today, but they dismembered Venezuelan families. They dismembered us like you tear a shirt. And so we are left, with all the pieces scattered all over the world.”
