A few hours before the end of the transfer period, which closes on Friday, February 2, a surprising Boca negotiation emerged: they are speaking with Gabriel Florentín, the offensive midfielder who played for River and debuted at Argentinos Juniors.

The midfielder currently plays in Russian football, more precisely in Orenburg, a modest club in which he shares a club with Lucas Vera (ex-All Boys, Lanús and Huracán) and Brian Mansilla (ex-Racing and Platense).
Florentín is one of the midfielders that would be good for Diego Martínez and that is why they will try to incorporate him. According to journalist César Luis Merlo, the intention is to bring him on loan for one year with a purchase option.
For now, Boca has signed defender Cristian Lema, left back Lautaro Blanco and creative midfielder Kevin Zenón. As Juan Román Riquelme stated, the main objective is “to maintain the team that reached the final of the Copa Libertadores, something that costs a lot.”

When and where does Boca play for the League Cup
Boca will host Sarmiento this Wednesday at the Nuevo Gasómetro for the second date of the League Cup. If the fact of having to change locations was already something that affected everyone in Xeneize, in the last few hours news arrived that made things worse: the Ministry of Security of the City Government limited the entry of members for said meeting. Thus, only 28 thousand fans will be able to see Diego Martínez's team.
The Government Control Agency authorized a capacity of 31,800 people, but the authorities decided to reduce it to 28,000 because inconveniences could arise with people showing up with trout cards or tickets.
It should be noted that La Bombonera has a capacity for approximately 54,000 fans, as reported on the club's official website. In this way, there will be at least 26 thousand members who will be left out of Boca's second game in the League Cup, the first at home.
