The result of the autopsy on the body of Julieta Siles, the 23-year-old girl who was found dead in a field in Salta, showed that the girl's death was due to “sudden death.” A suspect remains in custody in the case.
The discovery occurred next to a house under construction, located within a vacant lot in the Tabacalero neighborhood of the Salta city of General Güemes. The first hypotheses indicated that it could be a femicide due to alleged injuries to the girl's head and abdomen.

However, the preliminary autopsy report determined that the body did not show obvious external signs of violence and that death would have occurred due to arrhythmia, cardiorespiratory failure and sudden death.
The case remains in the hands of criminal prosecutor Gabriel González, interim in the Femicide Unit at the fair, and a man is detained. The investigation now aims to find out if the suspect had any involvement in the girl's death.

That is why the prosecutor is now awaiting the result of the complementary studies of the procedure, which will be carried out in the Forensic Thanatology Service of the CIF, as well as anatomopathological studies to reliably determine the cause and date of death.
In that sense, investigators will try to establish if Julieta ingested some type of substance that led to her death. At the scene, CIF personnel worked for several hours and later the Femicide Prosecutor's Office, headed by prosecutor Mónica Poma, intervened.

On the other hand, family and friends of the young woman called for a demonstration for this Tuesday at 8 p.m. in the central square of General Güemes, to which they asked to attend with candles, posters and purple clothing.
Her friends said goodbye to her with painful messages on social networks. “I never imagined having to make this video for you. The one who accompanied me to the marches to fight for our rights. “Here we will do everything possible to ensure justice is done, beautiful,” said one of them.
