In dialogue with Mañanísimas (eltrece), the program hosted by Carmen Barbieri, Santiago Simari told how his life changed after winning 25 million pesos in The 8 steps (eltrece). The participant defeated Ludmila and Ignacio in the final and was named “the most successful among all the winners.”
“Santiago, my heart, my love, I wanted to have you closer to hug you. How intelligent you are, how informed you are… Do you still think that you want to be president for a better country, for a better people? “asked the ex-vedette.

“Yes, just like that. I really want to. It amuses me a lot when I won the program and that people greet me and are happy. Not to mention that if that can be translated into helping them and improving their lives, it would be beautiful,” responded the big winner.

Furthermore, he assured that the money obtained is not that important to him: “The money is the least important thing. You see your friends and people you don't know who stop you, greet you, drive by and honk at you.”

Regarding the possibility of being president of the Nation in the future, he stated: “I am not one of those who hate history or politics. I have had to see my parents and I have to see that they break their souls working constantly, my brothers who make an enormous effort, me too.”
“It's more about being able to help, not just my family, it's about a lot of other people and that's what I've wanted for a long time. I don't subscribe to a recent fashion but it's something I've had since I was little,” Simari concluded.
