Tragic news shocked the world of extreme athletes: a 33-year-old young man tried to jump from the roof of a 29-story building, but his parachute never opened and he died after falling into the void.
The event occurred this Saturday night when the British jumper Nathy Odinson wanted to perform a base jump in the city of Pattaya, in Thailand. According to the testimony of witnesses, the boy illegally entered the terrace to record a video for his social networks.

After the throw, the young man fell on a tree and then ended up on the ground. One of his friends was filming the sequence and when he noticed the accident, he immediately called the emergency services.
An ambulance arrived around 7:30 p.m. and, despite doctors' attempts to save him, Odinson was pronounced dead at the scene.
“I heard the sound of the tree and I thought it was a branch that had fallen to the ground, but then a woman screamed so I went closer and realized it was a person. She was dead and I saw that she had jumped from the building,” Kanet Chansong, the property's security guard, told The Sun.

In addition, he added that it was not the first time he had done it in said place and that “they knew it was not allowed.”
On the other hand, Thai police lieutenant Kamolporn Nadee explained that there were no signs that the boy had been attacked and pushed, but rather it was confirmed that his parachute did not work properly because it was not properly placed. “He was in a terrible state when we arrived. The friend who recorded the video of him jumping was questioned and the clip was examined as evidence.”
