The areas of Buenos Aires where an orange alert will apply this Saturday, February 3, are the coast of General Pueyrredón, the coast of Mar Chiquita, General Alvarado, Pinamar, the southeast of General Juan Madariaga, Villa Gesell, the east of General Lavalle and La Coast.
This area will be affected by winds from the southern sector with speeds between 50 and 70 kilometers per hour and gusts that can exceed 90 km/h.
The Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, meanwhile, will be under a yellow alert for winds during the night. The winds from the southern sector will impact with speeds of between 35 and 50 kilometers per hour and gusts that could exceed 70 kilometers per hour.
The rest of the Buenos Aires towns located to the east and part of the south coast, will be impacted by southerly winds, with equal intensity, between the afternoon and night.

How National Weather Service alerts are classified:
Red level: this is when exceptional meteorological phenomena with the potential to cause emergencies or disasters are expected.
Orange level: dangerous weather events are expected for society, life, property and the environment.
Yellow level: there will be meteorological phenomena with the potential for damage and risk of momentary interruption of daily activities.
Green level: no meteorological phenomena that imply risks are expected.
