Around 5:45 p.m., a confrontation took place between Chacarita fans in the popular grandstand area. Minutes later, the fight moved to the outskirts of the stadium, where an argument began that ended with a man stabbed to death.
Although the fan was taken to the Belgrano hospital, the doctors could do nothing to save him. The victim was identified as Jorge Daniel Duran, 43 years old. According to police sources, the cover of the incident is still awaited.

Sources from the Buenos Aires Police indicated to TN that everything “happened inside the club” and that it was a “brawl between themselves.” Likewise, they explained that evidence about the crime is still being collected and that the new head of APreViDe, Guillermo Cimadevila, is at the stadium to supervise the investigation.
Likewise, they assured that the incident did not happen inside the stands, but rather was in the vicinity of the stadium: “It was directly an attack between them.”

The 43-year-old victim was identified as Jorge Durán, better known as “El Negro Tito.” According to security sources, the man was stabbed in the chest during a confrontation between the factions of the funeral fans. He was transferred to the Manuel Belgrano General Provincial Hospital where he eventually died.
