The designated Government official said that he does not understand “what could attract the attention” of those who criticize him: “They always saw willingness on my part, I always risked myself in critical moments,” and stated: “I came to work as a secretary in a Ministry (Interior), my clothes are not torn.”
Scioli said that with the Minister of the Interior, Guillermo Francos, they came to the conclusion that he could help more from a position in the country and spoke of his bond with Milei: “I have had a relationship with him for eight years, of affection and respect, and I recognize how he interpreted society's will to change, he has the mission of meeting expectations, with a complex starting point, and I expressed the will to help.”
Scioli asked: “Is it wrong to want to help? I said: 'This moment is the moment', my objective will be to provide solutions in a context where there is no money, with the income of dollars through tourism, they criticize me because I want to work, I did not stay in the tranquility of Brazil, there are something higher, the interests of Argentina.”
