A 54-year-old chef was beaten to death in his home in San Clemente del Tuyú last Sunday after a robbery. The Police managed to arrest two suspects in Cañuelas, after they tried to sell the man's cell phone to a young woman.
The victim was identified as Daniel Enrique Godoy and was a chef at Termas Marinas Park in San Clemente. On Sunday, after not arriving at work, his colleagues alerted him to his absence. In this way, personnel from the local police station entered his house and found Godoy's body.

When analyzing the place, the officers noticed that everything was mixed up, so they began to investigate the homicide during a robbery. In addition, the victim's car was not there either, so they requested the security cameras in the area and were able to determine that she had left the spa town towards the northeast of the province of Buenos Aires.
At the same time, a man reported at the Los Pozos de Cañuelas police station that two young people had tried to sell a cell phone to his 18-year-old daughter, but when he became suspicious of how they had gotten it, he decided not to buy it. He also provided the details of the car in which they were driving and it turned out to be that of the chef.

With this information, investigators were able to find two suspects. The first is a 20-year-old young man, who had the keys to the Chevrolet, which he had left at a rubber store in the area. The second is a 15-year-old teenager who they believe would be the co-author of the crime.
At the time of his arrest, the officers seized the car, some sneakers and the cell phone, all of Godoy's belongings. The case is being handled by prosecutor Gustavo Mascioli, from the decentralized Functional Instruction Unit (UFI) 1 in La Costa, who investigated this Tuesday the oldest of the accused, who refused to testify.
