Emin Gzoghyan discovered Argentina through television. It was not a news story, nor a football game. Neither is a documentary or a movie. This man, born in Armenia, was captivated by Natalia Oreiro, dressed as a domestic worker, with a dubbing in Russian, being the protagonist of Muñeca Brava.
At 39 years old, he treasures that image that inevitably takes him to his country, from which he left to live in Russia for 18 years, until in 2018 he decided to try his luck in Argentina.

In recent weeks, the Armenian, who is known on social networks as Emil – a name he likes – went viral for a video in which he is seen giving fresh drinks to workers in different sectors who carry out their work in the street. A series of images shared on TikTok that exceeded 780 thousand views and 90 thousand likes.
“I came to the country to work in a friend's jewelry store, on Libertad Street. I spent two years with him until I decided to open Bombonazo, a cafeteria in Santa Fe and Salguero, which I closed in December of last year,” he explained to TN.
In January he decided to go out and distribute cold drinks to workers on the street (Photo: Instagram @bombonazo.emil).
A specialist in silver jewelry, Emil left the field to open his own path as a merchant. However, economic fluctuations and his “little patience” in interacting with employees led him to close his business.
Solidarity under the rays of the sun: Emil allocates thousands of pesos in drinks for workers
“I decided to dedicate myself to making videos for TikTok and Instagram, while at the same time I work with another friend selling technology products. And since I have always been interested in helping, I started filming it so I could share it on the networks and seek donations to continue giving away drinks,” said Gzoghyan.

“Before I helped with money, but I realized that maybe they spent it on anything and I didn't want to. So I thought, with this heat, to go out and distribute water and soft drinks to people who are working under the sun or in unfavorable conditions,” Emil added.
In the video he published on his TikTok account, he compiled a series of deliveries in which he surprises different groups of workers, who first look at him surprised and then thank him for the gesture.
Emil specified that he pays about $5,000 to his friend (who films and then edits the video) and spends another $10,000 on buying drinks every time he goes out on the tour. “In January I went out for 20 days to deliver water and soft drinks. Many of those times I didn't film them and I even know I spent more. “If I have to do a calculation, I think I allocated $300,000 for this,” he indicated.

“I have a son in Armenia and I currently live in Constitución with an Argentinian woman, my partner. Honestly, I don't miss my country because a lot of things happen there. On the other hand, I do like living in Argentina, although I don't enjoy the city as much. At some point I think I'm going to go a little further,” she reflected.
Emil knows that not everything is positive on social networks and the comments he receives are diverse. Despite that, he does not deviate from his goal and remains firm in his goal. “Regarding the videos, many people thank me, send me hearts and say nice things to me. However, there are others who question everything, from what my quest is to whether I give them sugary drinks. I don't care, I'm going to continue. I don't have much, but I want to help,” he concluded.
