The Teatro Colón, considered one of the five best opera theaters in the world, stands in the City of Buenos Aires and covers an area of 63,408 square meters. The cultural icon that attracts both local residents and international tourists, keeps a “secret” inside: a confectionery.
To access the “hidden” bar inside the theater, which is located in the old Carriage Passage, there is a narrow street that connects Tucumán and Arturo Toscanini, in front of Vatican Square.

Under the user @lachicadelbrunch on the Tiktok platform, Rocío shared her experience visiting it and gave details of her story. “Legend has it that this passage was built so that women would not get wet on rainy days and would enter directly into the theater,” she wrote.

The theater was remodeled for its hundred years and in that work a kind of covered street was designed that, on one side, has the theater ticket offices and on the other the confectionery.
The space has the option of breakfast or snack. “They welcome you with mini canelés and you can order a complete tea service or order the products separately,” he indicated.

Regarding the menu, he highlighted that it is characterized by its variety and that it is made up of “options for different pockets.” “I want to highlight that the full tea service is for three people because it is huge.”
In the menu that is given to customers you can see a summary of the place: “Between floors of carpentry and original lighting fixtures, we invite you to enjoy a selection of Argentine pastries, international dishes, infusions, sandwiches and salads.”

At the exit of the cafe there is a store with Teatro Colón merchandise that offers different souvenirs. Although the tiktoker clarified that it is not necessary to reserve, she recommended going early because it is common for the place to fill up.
In the description, he included several combo options along with their prices: toast with cheese and homemade jam costs $3,000; yogurt with granola, $4,900; Croque Monsieur with brie cheese and gratin parmesan $6,500 and the cocoa, pistachio and dulce de leche alfajor $2,400.
