Bachelor and bachelorette parties are full of stories of friendship, craziness and good times. In all of them there is always something different that characterizes them and that is often part of the intimacy of the group. What happens in Las Vegas, stays in Las Vegas! goes the popular American saying about the secrets of these gatherings.
However, the meeting organized by Mariano Enríquez's friends went much further. This Independiente fan, who will get married in the next few days, had the pleasure of having his idol, Ricardo Bochini, present in one of the happiest moments of his life.

In dialogue with TN Mariano told how the idea of hiring Bocha to be with him and his friends arose, something that is not strange at all because the former player is dedicated to being present at these types of events.
“The farewell was in Gowland, near Mercedes. With my friends we were always joking that Bocha had to be there since he is my idol. “I didn't know anything, it was a surprise that turned out for the best,” the boyfriend told TN.

Mariano is 35 years old and for 13 years he has been the captain of the Venerables FC team, which plays continuously in a 7-a-side soccer tournament in Pilar. It was his teammates (and his friends) who were in charge of organizing the idol's arrival.
“The truth is that I don't know how much their presence cost because they took care of everything,” he says. And his friends emphasize: “When we contacted the number and saw that there was a real possibility, we were elated. We wanted the day to come now! “It's not every day you have the chance to eat a barbecue with one of the biggest winners of the Copa Libertadores, world champion and idol of Diego Maradona.”
“Bocha means something very important for Argentine football. It must also be said that only I am a fan of Independiente, but none of my friends hesitated to take a photo with him. Even the Racing guy ended up taking photos with Bocha. “Crazy thing!” he said, laughing.
Bocha, the great figure of the bachelor party
Mariano said that Bochini arrived in his car and spent just over two and a half hours at the meeting. He ate barbecue, chatted with the boys and even remembered moments of glory from his career.
“The truth is that everything came out ten points. Bocha is a great guy, he sat with us like one more, he told us anecdotes from his time as a player, he let us play ball with him – and it was 40 degrees in the shade – and we even had the luxury of being able to help him with some repairs in the car,” he says.

The anecdote that they will not forget
As it could not be otherwise, Bochini was one of the group of friends. He played soccer, gave his opinion about Menotti and Bilardo, and was even part of the barbecue. However, he didn't like something and he let the boys know.
“We served him chori and he asked if there was bread. We said no because the boys miscalculated and we were already out of money. 'You can't eat chorizo without bread, guys,' he told us, shaking his head and whispering,” Mariano recalled.

Bochini, star of weddings, birthdays and farewells
As TN reported a few years ago, Ricardo Bochini offers a hiring service: he participates in birthdays, weddings and any type of events where required.
Mariano, the protagonist of this event, said that he found someone very special at Bocha: “He seems to me to be one of the most humble and simple people I met. If I loved him before, now I love him three times more because at no time was he uncomfortable. He always came, greeted, made jokes, had a small glass of coke and added a little fernet.”
Bochini shared moments with the groom and his entire group of friends. “He does this because he likes to feel the genuine affection of the fan,” Mariano said. (Photo: courtesy of Mariano Enríquez).
Finally, Mariano referred to the fact that Independiente's biggest idol does this type of thing. “I don't know his situation. I don't think it's missing anything. In fact, I think the club should make sure that Bocha does not lack anything because he is Independiente. In some interview I heard him say that he does this because he likes to feel the genuine affection of the fan and I really believe that is the case. “He is a simple guy who enjoys contact with people,” he concluded.
