This Saturday, around 3 p.m., a fire broke out at the Edesur company substation in Caballito, located on José María Moreno and Juan Bautista Alberdi avenues.

After the incident was reported, personnel from Neighborhood Police Station 6B went to the scene and, after implementing the corresponding protocol, they had to evacuate it as well as the entire block. Minutes later, the City Firefighters arrived to put out the flames and are currently continuing to work. The presence of SAME was also requested preventively.
As a result of the incident, there are several blocks without power supply.

“Firefighters are working on the fire that occurred at our Caballito Substation. Once the situation is controlled, we will be able to evaluate the damage,” the company wrote on its X account (exTwitter).
