President Javier Milei recognized the possibility of an agreement to advance a Government with the PRO and highlighted the transcendental role that Patricia Bullrich already has as Minister of Security and Luis Petri in Defense.
“I have a fluid dialogue with Mauricio Macri,” said Milei in dialogue with Radio Miter and highlighted the transcendental role that PRO representatives already have within his Government. “Patricia Bullrich is part of our Government and I am fully satisfied. Like Luis Petri, who is our Minister of Defense,” highlighted the President.

“What happened in Congress clearly showed us who is on each side,” Milei said. And she stressed regarding the possibility of an agreement with the PRO: “It occurred spontaneously and was validated in the facts in the Chamber in recent days. It seems to me that it's something that naturally flows into that. Plus we get along very well.”
On the other hand, Milei ruled out giving names of possible PRO figures who could reach the Government and assured: “They are not the type of conversations that I have with Mauricio Macri.”
The President supported his Minister of the Interior, Guillermo Francos, who he said is “firm as a statue” in the national Cabinet and highlighted that the agreement with the PRO would help create “a political space that clearly demonstrates the possibility of a change”. In addition, he assured that he listens carefully to Mauricio Macri's advice and his experiences as president.

The possibility of an agreement with the PRO
The possibility of a “government agreement”, or “co-government” or “government coalition” between La Libertad Avanza and the PRO has been discussed since Milei won the runoff, and even before, when the libertarian left out of the second round to Together for Change, which had Bullrich as a candidate for president. In the middle, paraphrasing Macri, “things happened.”
Despite the fact that there are several PRO leaders, linked to the former president and the current Minister of Security, who make up the Executive in second lines, Macri's plan for the PRO to formally integrate the Government never came to fruition. The biggest break occurred when everything seemed agreed for Cristian Ritondo to be the president of the Chamber of Deputies and Milei finally chose Martín Menem from La Rioja.
“This novelty of a coalition arises 100% from Milei or the Government. Mauricio talks to him several times a week. The President thanks him, and then he goes and does the opposite or what Nicolás Posse or Guillermo Francos tells him. The one who stopped any government agreement was Posse under threat of resignation, and Francos was the one who operated so that Cristian would not be president of Deputies,” denounces a PRO man very close to the former president.

Milei once again attacked the governors for transfers to the provinces
In the midst of the tension over the removal of transportation subsidies, Javier Milei once again attacked the governors and assured that they cut off transfers to the provinces as they had already announced.
“I decided to remove the Law because they were leaving the packaging but inside they were filling it with excrement,” said the President about the decision to cancel the Omnibus Law in the middle of its vote in the Chamber of Deputies.
On the other hand, Milei stated that in the month of January Argentina reached financial balance.
