Two cars were involved in a crash in the middle of the operation due to the fire at the Edesur company substation in Caballito that affected the area for more than four hours. Due to the impact, a woman was injured.
The incident occurred this Saturday afternoon on the corner of La Plata and Formosa avenues. As a result of the fierce fire, thousands of people in the area suffered power outages, so the traffic lights did not work. In addition, there was a traffic shutdown in several blocks.

In the middle of the operation, a gray Hiunday Creta vehicle that was driven by a young woman collided with a Ford Focus, in which a couple was traveling with their son, according to reports from Télam.
The driver suffered minor injuries and the occupants of the other car suffered some bruises. Some witnesses came forward to provide assistance until the City Police arrived to assist them.
Ferocious fire in Caballito: an Edesur substation caught fire and there are 60 thousand users without electricity
This Saturday, around 3 p.m., a fire broke out at the Edesur company substation in Caballito, located on José María Moreno and Juan Bautista Alberdi avenues.
After the incident was reported, personnel from Neighborhood Police Station 6B went to the scene and, after implementing the corresponding protocol, they had to evacuate it as well as the entire block.

Minutes later, the City Firefighters arrived to put out the flames and after four hours of hard work they managed to bring it under control. The presence of SAME was also requested preventively.
As a result of the incident, there are still several blocks without power supply.
