Power outages are a problem after the explosion at the Edesur substation in Caballito, added to the inconveniences that occur every summer in Argentina with the energy supply.
That is why, according to ENRE and Edesur, during the afternoon of this Monday 16,342 users did not have electricity between the City of Buenos Aires (CABA) and the Province of Buenos Aires (PBA). Of these, 6,342 were in the Buenos Aires neighborhood where the fire occurred, as the entity announced in its official account in X.

In Caballito, a report on the Edesur website indicates that the power could return for 1,575 users at 7:58 p.m. Flores also has affected users and Edesur still did not give an estimated time for them to recover the energy supply. In Mataderos, the energy is expected to return at 4:22 p.m. today.

In Avellaneda the power supply is scheduled to return at 9:40 p.m.
In Almirante Brown there are 420 affected users and there is no time for the service to normalize.

ENRE (National Electricity Regulatory Entity): is the regulatory body of the electricity market in Argentina. Its main function is to control and regulate electricity generation, transportation and distribution activities throughout the country. ENRE is also responsible for resolving disputes between consumers and electricity companies.
Edenor (Empresa Distribuidora y Comercializadora Norte SA): is one of the main electricity distributors in Argentina. It covers the northern area of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires and part of the north of Greater Buenos Aires. Its responsibility is the distribution and marketing of electricity in its concession area. This includes maintenance of the electrical network, attention to emergencies and breakdowns, installation of new supplies, and reading meters for service billing.
EDESUR (Empresa Distribuidora Sur SA): is another of the main electricity distributors in Argentina, focused on the southern part of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires and 12 districts in the south of Greater Buenos Aires. Its functions are similar to those of Edenor, focused on the distribution and marketing of electricity, network maintenance, management of new connections and measurement and billing of electricity consumption.
