After witnessing the canonization of Mama Antula and the first meeting between Javier Milei and the Pope, a delegation of around 30 businessmen seeks to attract investments in Rome. The objective of this trip is not only to show a gesture of support for the Government, but also to take the opportunity to make contacts with different sectors in Italy.

The delegation is headed by Foreign Minister Diana Mondino and they are expected to stay with her until February 14 when the President returns to Buenos Aires on a flight scheduled for the same Monday the 12th.
The business agenda in Rome
The group of businessmen had their first “activity” this Sunday, with the participation of the ceremony in which the Supreme Pontiff proclaimed María Antonia Paz y Figueroa – popularly known as Mama Antula – as Saint in the Basilica of Saint Peter in the Vatican.
On Monday the businessmen plan to carry out private activities and on Tuesday the 13th in the morning they will hold a meeting with the members of the General Confederation of Italian Industry (CONFINDUSTRIA), headed by the vice president of Confindustria, Bárbara Bertrame.
During noon that day, meetings are planned with the authorities of financial entities such as SACE, SIMEST, Cassa Depositi e Prestiti and also with Italian companies that are interested in investing in Argentina, according to the Foreign Ministry's schedule.

Late in the afternoon, they will participate in the art exhibition by Italian Davide Querin and a photographic exhibition of emblematic buildings in Argentina by Italian architects. The appointment is at Casa Argentina in Rome.
“This Monday we have a more private agenda and on Tuesday the activities with the delegation. Let's leave a message to investors. It is not charity, we are going to tell them that this is a government with difficulties, but that it is a different scenario so that they can invest and create jobs,” said the president of the Argentine Chamber of Commerce and Services (CAC), Natalio Mario Grinman. , in dialogue with TN.
“Argentina was disconnected from the world and now has to reconnect. Living with our own is not possible and what we want is to build a normal country. Go from potential to act,” she summarized.
He also said that the businessmen had already met with Ministers Francos, Petovello and Mondino, mainly to talk about the Government's future plans and the first results of the economic plan, among which the control of the deficit stood out. “We are pleasantly surprised by that and a very good harvest is going to come. The Omnibus Law was a frustration and we will have to wait a little longer,” he said.
On Wednesday the 14th, Mondino will speak at the Opening of the International Conference “Engaging the Global South: the role of women in addressing key challenges”, a talk in which she will emphasize her work as head of Foreign Affairs.
