The Government of Javier Milei appointed the diplomat Luis Pablo María Beltramino as ambassador to the Vatican. The current diplomatic representative in Vietnam was confirmed this Monday during the visit that the president made to Pope Francis in the Vatican.
Once the Vatican's approval is confirmed, Beltramino will take charge of the embassy located on Via della Conciliazione 22, meters from St. Peter's Square.
Until the beginning of February, the Argentine ambassador was the diplomat María Fernanda Silva, appointed by former president Alberto Fernández at the beginning of his administration in 2020.
